I.T. Security for Government Executives
Government executives are faced with a
myriad of issues pertaining to I.T. Security: Compliance,
Accountability, Shared Services, Secure Channel, and
Restricted Budgets. How, in this environment, do
executives create an effective, meaningful Security Program?
This Executive Training course is
offered by senior consultants with broad, strategic exposure
to the Federal Government and Private Sector clients. Our
instructors will communicate the challenges, best practices,
lessons learned, and pitfalls in creating a
security-conscious organization within the Government of
Canada.
Benefits
This course is intended as an applied
supplement to the Government’s existing security training
programs. With a specific focus on Government standards,
including MITS, the GSP, ITSD-02, Certification and
Accreditation, this intensive four-hour session is intended
to provide Government Executives and Senior Decision Makers
with a meaningful framework to ensure that the key
characteristics of an effective security program are in
place.

within the Federal Government who are engaged with
activities such as: protecting information assets, risk
management, IT Security, Physical Security, Compliance,
Auditing, and Strategic Planning.
